About Us

We started off as a small uni project in our second year of uni, making video podcasts. Deciding to continue this project we went on to create a Magazine dedicated to sharing stories and experiences of women across the music industry from artists, to journalists, to vinyl makers! Inspired by the work of these women we want to use our platform to share the achievements of not only women, but all people in music regardless of age, gender, sexuality, race etc. It's a cut throat industry and we think it's about time we start recognising and celebrating each other.

As avid gig goers and music fans, putting on a gig of our own has always been a dream and thanks to the encouragement and confidence gained from our time at uni we are finally able to do so! Determined to highlight the inequality in the music industry we set out to make sure our lineups are diverse, and with equal opportunity, this is unfortunately a difficult task but we will continue to try our best in the hopes that one day it will be more equal. As two young women we consider the safety and comfort of our audience to be very important and with the help of the rest of our team, the venue and artists we will always be on the look out and available at our shows to ensure this.
